Paul Kagame on Monday,received a high-level delegation from the Asante Kingdom at Urugwiro Village, in a meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Africa’s influential traditional authority.
The delegation was led by Oheneba Yaw Otchere, who serves as Royal Ambassador to His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Discussions focused on expanding collaboration in key economic sectors, particularly trade, investment, and mineral development. Both sides explored opportunities to deepen partnerships that could enhance economic growth and cultural exchange between Rwanda and the Asanteman.

The meeting reflects growing engagement between African traditional institutions and modern state leadership in promoting intra-African cooperation and economic integration.
